A super hardy heirloom variety that just keeps on giving. Harvest leaves from the bottom of the stem up, it will keep on making leaves at the top of the plant. Super producer. A firm favourite through the years. It is grown in the same way as cabbage. Harvest leaves whilst young, as with all kale the older the leaves the tougher they get.

An old Russian variety with slightly frilled leaves. Very hardy. Its leaves have a slightly blueish tint to them. Harvest leaves at the bottom first, if you do harvest the whole plant then harvest about 2cm above the soil, it will then take about 2 weeks for the plant to sprout new leaves Always harvest Kale leaves whilst young and tender or they can get tough and bitter. A good producer. Grown in the same way as cabbage.
